High Speed 112Mbps. RF Data Transfer From Nokia & CEA-Leti.

Here is a new invention or you can say research from CEA-Leti and Nokia Research Centre. Nokia Research Centre (NRC) and CEA- Lati has developed High speed data transfer RF circuit. This high speed RF data transfer circuit will allow very high speed content exchange or data transfer between a mobile phone and a memory tag. The data transfer rate will be 112Mb/Sec. (112 mbps.) approximately. This is a RF front end circuit. This high speed Nokia RF data transfer is research prototype and currently used in Nokia Explore and Share research prototype.
The radio technology used behind this technology is Impulse Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) and Narrow-Band Ultra High Frequency (UHF) signal. UWB is used for high speed data transfer and Narrow-Band Ultra High Frequency (UHF) signal is used for synchronization and remote powering. This circuit may power itself from the Narrow Band Signals and also can provide power for an external non-volatile memory device, it is designed to run from battery power too, to increase the reading distance between the device.
