Yes, you can use your favourite “Facebook” account from your mobile phone, without an internet or GPRS connection and without using any mobile phone application. Another good news is that, you can use any mobile phone, Ya.. really any mobile phone (old age mobile phones having no browser at all or the latest smart phones) to get and use ‘Facebook’ into your handset without GPRS. Now there is nothing that can resist you from using your favourite FB. Through this new concept, any mobile user in India can use their FB account, irrelevant of their places/location, just they need a mobile handset of any make (Nokia, Samsung, LG, Micromax etc.) and a GSM network.
Ok, now here is the new concept. You can use your Facebook account by just dialling *325# from your mobile phone (any Brand & Model No.), by just having GSM network. Isn’t great ? But don’t forget that this service is only for India.
Just after dialling to *325# from your mobile phone, the service will ask your Facebook Username and Facebook Password & now you can access your all Facebook services, like comments, writing to wall, adding friends etc. This is like a service message commands of your operator, just like how you use to check your Talk Time, GPRS balance on Vodafone or checking your Airtel talk time, GPRS etc. After dialling above code a message will flash on your screen saying “ Welcome to Facebook by Fonetwish”, and after few seconds it will ask you to enter your E-mail address and so on ….
I personally tried this on Airtel and Idea SIM Card and it worked well. remember that this service is not free, you will be charged 1Rs. per day, and gives you unlimited use for the day. This service will be also helpful to the GPRS users, in an Emergency situations, like no packet data availability, and you need to update your status msg, or need a help.
